During the one-hour visit, you will explore the story and architecture of Alvar Aalto’s architectural office. The visit includes a Finnish spoken guided tour, but also time for independent exploration, photography, sketching, and shopping at the museum store. Welcome!
The guided tour starts promptly at the time indicated on your ticket at Tiilimäki 20, Helsinki. We recommend arriving by public transport, for example by tram number 4.
Please note that if you purchase a discounted ticket, proof of eligibility (student card, Docomomo card) must be presented during the visit. Each tour accommodates 15 participants. Advance ticket sales in the online shop close 15 minutes before the tour begins, and any remaining tickets will be sold at the door. The guide will open the door a few minutes before the tour starts. There is no indoor waiting area at the studio, but while waiting you can explore the garden amphitheatre. Visitors are kindly asked to remove their shoes during the tour to protect the original interior.
