Alvar Aalto in Seven Buildings exhibition poster. The sketch drawing shows the three-part floor plan and elevation of the Church of the Three Crosses (Vuoksenniska Church) in Imatra, Finland (1956–58).
The exhibition assembled by the Museum of Finnish Architecture was one of many commemorating Alvar Aalto’s centenary in 1998 that toured Finland and abroad. The poster was for the exhibition at Kunsthalle Helsinki and was designed by the architect Hannele Grönlund. It conforms to the visual identity of the Aalto 100 anniversary year and is available in two different colours.
