Guided tour to House of Culture in English

During the one-hour visit, you will explore the story and architecture of the House of Culture, a legendary concert hall designed by Alvar Aalto in 1952-1958. Welcome!

The guided tour starts promptly at the time indicated on your ticket at Sturenkatu 4, Helsinki, at the main entrance. We recommend arriving by public transport, for example by tram number 3, 1 or by bus number 23.

Please note that if you purchase a discounted ticket, proof of eligibility (student card, Docomomo card) must be presented during the visit. Each tour accommodates a maximum of 25 participants. Advance ticket sales in the online shop close 15 minutes before the tour begins. There are no ticket sales at the door. Tickets are non-refundable, so please choose your visit time carefully.
